![]() You scored as Demon. Demon: Darkness is your sanctuary. Demons are many and are all different in appearence and rank. The most common are the ones that feed off of human souls. They love to make someone fall into their inner darkness. Blood, wrath, murder... You name it they love it. These beings don't care who you are, if they set their sights on you, let's just hope you know a good excorist. They kill any love within you and pull you toward their side. By any means possible. You wish for chaos and hate, you are the Demon.

What's Your High School Stereotype?
created with QuizFarm.com
Well, to begin with, I'm an action movie junkie so this quiz was rather appealing to me. Of all those movies and action heroes I loved, which suited me most?
The quiz asked quite a lot of questions, which is good because quizzes with just a couple of questions often strike me as more luck and random results. I finished the questions, and was presented with a 'tie breaker' question because I had two possible ones that were that close. So I answered my tie breaker question, and got the following result:
You scored as Indiana Jones.
Indiana Jones is an archaeologist/adventurer with an unquenchable love for danger and excitement. He travels the globe in search of historical relics. He loves travel, excitement, and a good archaeological discovery. He hates Nazis and snakes, perhaps to the same degree. He always brings along his trusty whip and fedora. He's tough, cool, and dedicated. He relies on both brains and brawn to get him out of trouble and into it.

Indiana Jones - 75%
Lara Croft - 75%
Neo, the "One" - 71%
Batman, the Dark Knight - 58%
William Wallace - 58%
Captain Jack Sparrow - 58%
Maximus - 54%
The Terminator - 54%
The Amazing Spider-Man - 50%
James Bond, Agent 007 - 46%
El Zorro - 42%

What's your method for calculating a tip?
For an average meal, I mentally begin each server with a $5 tip. It goes down each time they do something that bothers me, yet they can also earn that amount back depending.
For example, I'm a heavy coffee drinker. If I have to call over my waiter a couple of times to refill my coffee, then they've lost a dollar on their tip. If I have to request basic condiments (like butter, salt, sweet 'n low, etc..) they've lost another dollar. And so on. However, if they go out of their way to argue with a cook for me or stop me when I'm about to order and point out that if I order it a different way I'll save some money.. then they've gained back some of their tip.

Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
Absolutely Linux. Ubuntu particularly.
Three major reasons:
1) I despise the methods of Microsoft and the poor coding standards they have.
2) I absolutely adore the open source movement, and I love the simplicity of Ubuntu.
3) I've never had a Mac.

Today I just installed DokuWiki on my laptop to organize all my research. It's such an utter disaster right now that simply the idea of organizing it is daunting. But, it needs must be done.
If it weren't enough with my classical studies research (which is about as wide a topic as it comes, covering things from history to philosophy to linguistics and more) but I've also got tons of research on all the computer and web programming I do (new technologies, manuals, notes, etc...). It's essentially like two completely differerent libraries exploded in one room - resulting in utter chaos.
Hopefully, hopefully, I'll be able to add some element of organization to it.
But I very highly am considering the idea of doing two separate wikis, one for the classics research and one for all the technical information. I have serious issues making a smooth mental transition from writting programming code to reading Catullus in Latin. It just doesn't mix and my mind balks at it. I find it hard enough to read the classics on a computer as it is, I think the best idea is to keep them separated.
Well, wish me luck!

What's your dream career?
Submitted by Something.
To be a respected professor and researcher. It would be a dream to be paid to stand around and teach something I love to talk about. To research what topics appeal to me the most and then write about them.
Even were I to suddenly become a multi-millionaire (I'm definitely open to the idea ;)) I'd still want to spend my free time studying and researching things that appeal to me.
In my perspective, life is about learning all that you can in the time given to you. I plan to be a student for as long as I can still function.
